SANDY, UT – WCF Insurance is proud to announce the retirement of Danielle Higley, effective December 31, 2024. Danielle has been a cornerstone of the organization since joining the Safety & Risk Control team in November 1995, making contributions to its growth and success.
Danielle’s expertise and dedication helped establish the department as a benchmark for excellence in policyholder service. She led safety initiatives at prominent venues, including the Delta Center during the 2002 Winter Olympics, and major construction projects such as Intermountain Health Care, City Creek, and the historic Salt Lake Temple. Her efforts have spanned nearly three decades of safety seminars, industrial hygiene initiatives, and worksite safety and risk consultation.
As a certified safety professional (CSP), Danielle earned her Master’s in Public Health (MPH) with an emphasis in Industrial Hygiene from the University of Utah in 2006, further solidifying her expertise in workplace safety. Beyond her technical achievements, she served as a board member and president of the local chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), where she mentored and guided emerging safety professionals. Her contributions have elevated WCF’s reputation as a leader in workplace safety.

Looking ahead, Danielle is excited to spend more time with her family and embrace her new role as a full-time mom to her son. While she will miss the camaraderie with colleagues, agents, and policyholders, she is confident in the future of the Safety & Risk Control team under the capable leadership of Bryan Olsen.
